Bill Quay Farm Family Day 2004

A lively afternoon of activities took place at Bill Quay Farm with a wide range of creative artists for all ages including singing, dancing, storytelling, music for under 5s, drama and more.

Voices Of The River's Edge Activity Week at Bill Quay Farm Programme for Thursday 22 July 12 noon - 4pm

Everyone was welcome to join in any of these activities and they were all free!

On the lawn outside the café:

12 noon: Storytelling and songs with Malcolm Green and Rachel Unthank
12.45pm: Music for under 5s (and their mums and dads!) with Steph Brandon and Julia Regan
1.15pm: Meet here for a storytelling nature walk around the farm with Malcolm Green and Rachel Unthank
2pm: More music for under 5s with Steph Brandon and Julia Regan
3pm: More storytelling and songs with Malcolm Green and Rachel Unthank

The Butcher's Shop, Hainingwood Terrace:

1 - 3.30pm: Drop in session using textiles and sound-recording with Claire Satow and Ellen Phethean. Turn up, chat about your experiences of living in the area and have a go with textiles!

The Classroom:

12 noon: DJing and rapping workshop with Sam Allen and Adam Cogdon
1pm: Songwriting workshop with Bex Mather
2pm: Absolute Beginners Tin Whistle workshop with Joey Oliver

The Farmyard:

12 - 4pm: Continuous music and ceilidh dancing with David Oliver and friends - including singing with Claire Johnson and Liz Richley

And look out for singers and clog dancers appearing around the farm!
